Due to supply issues related to the global pandemic, CHATS’ Meals on Wheels provider, Apetito, is experiencing significant production challenges. Apetito is working hard to build their inventory of meals; however, has informed us that the supply issues are such that they cannot guarantee availability of the full range of products at this time.
What does this mean for Meals on Wheels clients?
It means that some of the items you order may not be available at the time your order is put through.
What is CHATS doing to ensure you still receive the meals you need?
If an item in your order is not available one of our Service Coordinators will call you to inform of the non availability and provide you with a choice of available options.

Program Overview
CHATS Meals on Wheels program offers more than 100 tasty and nutritious soups, entrees, breakfasts, and desserts. All products arrive frozen for you to store in your home freezer.
You can conveniently heat the meals directly from frozen in your microwave or oven. Soups can be heated on the stovetop or in the microwave, and desserts just need to be thawed and/or warmed.
All dishes have been created in line with the recommendations of Canada’s Food Guide—with controlled levels of fat and sodium. This means that you can be sure that they are healthy as well as delicious.
