CHATS Volunteer Recognized as Seniors Champion/Advocate in Newmarket

CHATS-Community & Home Assistance to Seniors would like to extend our congratulations to our volunteer Azar Mohammadghorbanian, for being recognized as the award winner of Seniors Champion/Advocate at the recent Newmarket Community Recognition Awards.
Presented by Kelly Broome, Newmarket Ward 6 Councillor, the award represents an individual or organization that has made a meaningful contribution to improving the lives of seniors in Newmarket through advocacy, programs, or personal commitment.
Azar has dedicated herself to creating connection and support for seniors. From volunteering with CHATS to offering weekly phone calls to isolated older adults, and helping at the local food pantry, she brings warmth and care to every interaction.
