CHATS- Community & Home Assistance to Seniors Iranian Program gathered on Friday, March 15, to celebrate Nowruz 2582.

Nowruz has been celebrated for at least 3000 years and originated in Persia (modern day Iran).

This year, Nowruz is celebrated on March 19 ringing in the Persian New Year of 2582. CHATS celebrated this event on March 15, 2024. Deputy Mayor of Richmond Hill, Godwin Chan, joined CHATS for the occasion, along side CHATS clients and staff.
