In the beginning I felt so isolated. Since mid-March I had stopped coming to the program; I was also so afraid of the virus and very reluctant to leave my home. Soon I received a phone call from the program coordinator [for a] wellness check. She enrolled me in the weekly telephone group program to talk/meet virtually with others replacing the in-person gatherings. I’m so thankful for this arrangement and have been looking forward to “meeting” with my friends virtually.
